This policy explains what personal data GCC Tender Alerts (gcctenderalerts.com) collects, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

What we collect

• Account and billing details. When you subscribe through Stripe Checkout, Stripe collects your name, email address, billing details and card information under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, plan and subscription status, never your full card number.
• Digest preferences. The keywords, countries and categories you choose, and whether you have unsubscribed from digests. These are stored with your customer record at Stripe.
• Email delivery. We use your email address to send the daily digest and service messages (for example about your subscription). Digest emails are sent through our email provider (Cloudflare Email Sending).
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the message and your address to reply.
• Technical data. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address, user agent and time) to deliver and secure the service. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

The tender and regulatory content in our digests comes from public government portals. It is about tenders and notices, not about you.

How we use it

To provide the service you pay for (matching tenders to your preferences and emailing the digest), to manage billing, to answer support requests, to prevent abuse, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your email for third-party marketing.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the service: Stripe (payments and customer records), Cloudflare (hosting and email delivery) and GitHub (runs our daily matching jobs). They may process data outside the UAE. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Subscriber details and preferences: while your subscription is active, and for up to 12 months after it ends so you can resume or ask about past billing, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Payment and invoice records: as long as UAE accounting and tax laws require.
• Support emails: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.

Your choices and rights

Every digest has a one-click unsubscribe link and an "Edit preferences" link. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, or to withdraw consent, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, where it applies to you, the GDPR. Email privacy@gcctenderalerts.com; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Security

Access to subscriber data is limited to what is needed to run the service. Unsubscribe and preferences links are signed so they cannot be guessed.

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above. See also our Terms of Service.
